Which is best, Digital or Film

Quality wise, if handled correctly, there is virtually no difference in the final result. Digital, however, wins hands down on convenience E.G. You can have the same image in Colour AND in B&W.

No more "Oh, I must have blinked!" Those can be instantly deleted.

Re-touching is undetectable.

Images can be sent anywhere in the world instantly, saving on print and postage costs. 

No more " Sorry, it must have got lost in the post!"

Casting is very largely now done "on line" and original digital images are better than scanned prints.

Film is slow by comparison, as material all have to be mailed.

Any quality advantage in film has now been lost to significant improvements in digital technology.

Do you only use studio lighting

No, I also like to shoot outside in the garden if the light is good, but only if my client requests it and it's not raining!

I also shoot daylight in the studio on bright days but this really only works with digital.

Clients are welcome to try all three!

Why are you so expensive

I am admittedly more expensive than some photographers but a lot cheaper than others.

I have a lot of experience and offer you more choice and more time than just about anyone but don't take my word for it, See "What my clients say"
